Compound Coatings

Compound coating, molding chocolate, dipping wafers, or whatever you call it! Compound coatings are a quick and easy alternative to tempering real chocolate. With a vegetable oil base in place of cocoa butter, these wafers can be melted down easily, worked with, and put in the freezer to set up! Rest assured that our compound coatings are both easy AND delicious. Compound coatings from Guittard and Merckens are perfect for molding, dipping strawberries/apples/pretzels, and much more!
